Hey, it’s May! Where does the year go?
If you’re a regular Tough Pigs reader, you may recall that last year we spent the entire month of May stimulating our Muppet fan brains with the Muppetational May Challenge. Well, it’s May again, and we’re starting another challenge! Just like last year, all you need to play along is a Twitter account and a healthy knowledge of the Muppets. Last year we heard from a few people who started Twitter accounts for the sole purpose of participating, so even if you don’t have an account now, you needn’t let that stop you!
The idea for the Muppetational May Challenge comes from our pal Clayton Roederer, and he’s joined us again to come up with a whole bunch of new fan-friendly prompts.
It goes like this: Every day in May, we’re encouraging everyone to share their favorite Muppet characters, songs, and other details. Each day has their own element, so we’ll all be sharing the same stuff on the same dates. And that’s it! It’s easy, it’s fun, and it might just lead to a few surprises. (Last year we discovered that 5.7% of Muppet fans say The Muppets Take Manhattan is their least-favorite Muppet movie. What?!)

If you want to join the party, just post the category and your answer along with the hashtag #MuppetationalMay. If you want, you can add a little explanation for your choice. For example, if Gonzo were participating, he might share a tweet like this on May 8:
