Last year, The Jim Henson Company hosted a special benefit to honor the career of Muppeteer Dave Goelz. And now it seems that they’re going to make an annual tradition of it.
On May 5th, 2018, Sesame Street‘s Caroll Spinney will be the second recipient of the Puppets for Puppetry honor. The event will benefit the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, and will be held at the Henson Company lot in Hollywood, California.
If this show is anything like the Dave Goelz tribute, we should expect a lot of memorable performances, notable speakers, and an evening to remember.
