When Julia was introduced to Sesame Street in 2017, she made quite the splash. Not only is it already exciting news to be introduced to a new Sesame character, but thousands of fans applauded over the fact that she is a character with autism. Personally, I loved the fact that Julia wasn’t just around for one episode or one directive, but she became an actual part of the Sesame Street cast, living among the other Muppets on a day-to-day basis.
Sesame Street has just announced that Julia’s world will be expanding, as her family will be introduced.
Joining Julia (portrayed by Stacey Gordon) are her mother Elena (played by Kathleen Kim), her father Daniel (played by Peter Linz), her brother Sam (played by Spencer Lott), and her dog Rose (played by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph).
