This year’s New York Comic Con is bound to be more Muppety than it’s been in years! In addition to the Muppets Mayhem panel, your pals at ToughPigs will be hosting a panel celebrating all things Jim Henson.
“Jim Henson: The Early Years” will take a special look at some of Jim’s earliest projects. Our panelists will include:
- Craig Shemin – Muppet writer and author of “Sam and Friends: The Story of Jim Henson’s First Television Show”
- Ryan Dillon – Muppet performer
- Rollie Krewson – Master Puppet Designer and Builder, The Jim Henson Company
- Susie Tofte – Archivist / Collections Manager, The Jim Henson Company Archives
- Dave Hulteen – Muppet artist, cover artist for “Sam and Friends: The Story of Jim Henson’s First Television Show”
Our panel will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 4:45pm. Thankfully it’s not at the same time as the Muppets Mayhem panel (which will be on the following day). That would’ve been awkward.
In addition to bearing witness to a fun conversation, attendees will also get to see some early Henson rarities and walk away with a free gift! That’s a lot of reasons to attend!
