It’s no secret that we really loved the first two issues of the Sesame Street comic book, despite the fact that there was such a huge gap between them.  And now we’re doing our part to help remind people that there won’t be another long wait between issues #2 and 3 with a little help from the folks behind the comic.

We’re holding a contest in preparation for issue #3, due in your local comic shop on Wednesday, December 2nd!  And trust us, you’re going to want to enter this one.

To enter, all you need to do is send us a piece of fan art of a Sesame Street/comic book mashup.  So you can draw Grover as Superman, Abby Cadabby as Ramona Flowers, Mr. Snuffleupagus as Spider-Man, Rosita as Popeye, Guy Smiley as one of those creepy monsters from Attack on Titan, or any bizarre combination you can dream up!  You can draw, color, Photoshop, or use any artistic means at your disposal.  You can choose superheroes or kids comics or comic strips or anything that can be defined as an element from a comic or graphic novel.  Get creative!

Five lucky runners-up will receive free signed copies of issues #2 and 3, courtesy of our friends at Ape Entertainment!

One grand prize winner will receive a one-of-a-kind illustration of yourself as a Muppet, drawn by Rolo Mallada, who illustrated the Abby Cadabby story in the second issue of the Sesame Street comic book.  The drawing will be in color, and you’ll get both a digital version and the original in the mail.  Not bad for just sending us a doodle!

To enter, just email your picture to Joe@ToughPigs.com, along with your name and shipping address so we can get the prizes out as soon as possible!  The contest will close on Sunday, November 22nd, and there’s no limit to the number of pictures you can send in, so start drawing now!

And then stay tuned for an announcement of the winners soon after!  In the meantime, be sure to check out the first two issues of the Sesame Street comic book at your local comic shop, and then keep an eye out for issue #3 due in stores on December 2nd.

Good luck, Sesame fans!
