Over at the Sesame Place theme park, they release an exclusive plush of a different classic character every year.  In the past, they’ve featured Herry Monster, the Two-Headed Monster, and more.  They also sell toys of characters like Telly, Murray, and Prairie Dawn, all of which are seriously underrepresented in toy stores outside of the park.

This year, their Classic Character is none other than a Yip Yip Martian!  And unlike the others, he’s also a working puppet!  Finally, you can reenact the bit where the Martians spy on Maria and Luis making out.

Usually the Classic Character plushes show up on the online Sesame Place shop for those of us unable to visit Langhorne, Pennsylvania.  The Yip Yips aren’t there yet, but we’ve been assured that you can order your own by emailing them at mailorder@sesameplace.com.  Or, more preferable, make the journey to eastern Pennsylvania and buy one in person!

The puppets will cost you $32.95, which is a small price to pay to hold a genuine alien in your arms.
