Since 2008, the FAO Schwarz in New York City has been home to a Muppet mainstay: The Whatnot Workshop.  Not only were you able to build your own custom-made Whatnot, but it was also one of the only places where you could see a unique Muppet store, complete with artwork and artifacts and awesome stuff to see.

On July 15, FAO Schwarz will be shuttering its doors, and the Muppet Whatnot Workshop with it.

We’ll sorely miss the Whatnot Workshop.  It was a great place to bring visitors, search for new Muppet merchandise, and see something cool amidst all the high fashion on Fifth Avenue.

Thankfully, we’ll always have our coverage of the Whatnot Workshop!  You can view our photo tour, our video of ToughPigs’ own Ryan making his Whatnot, and more!

So if you’re in the New York City area, be sure to visit the Whatnot Workshop at FAO Schwarz one last time before July 15th!

Click here to build it, and they will come on the ToughPigs forum!
