Have you noticed how many bits on late-night talk shows these days revolve around just showing the audience something the writers found on the internet?  YouTube videos, tweets, Craigslist ads, Vines… They’re all frequently used as comedy now, which is either really savvy or really lazy on the part of the show’s creators.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has a recurring bit where Fallon solicits viewers to post amusing tweets using a specific hashtag, and then he reads the best ones on the air.  Last night, Jimmy was assisted by a bunch of very special guests from Sesame Street, who read submissions with the hashtag #WhenIWasAKid.  Check it out:
