Muppets Cool Kids A Cappella
When we first heard about the Muppets’ plan to post a series of new YouTube videos, we kind of assumed that they would be on the official Muppet YouTube channel.  It turns out they’re not content to stay in their own little corner — they’re taking over all of YouTube, one channel at a time.  We’ve already seen them pop up on Vsauce and Barely Political, and now we have an announcement that there are more guest appearances on the way, including appearances with Lindsey Stirling, Elliott Morgan, John and Hank Green, Crash Course, and Mental Floss. (I know what exactly one of those things is.)

And today we have “The Muppets Take on A Cappella – ‘Cool Kids.'”  Mike Tompkins is a popular YouTube musician who specializes in performing songs using only his voice, and he’s posted a new video featuring some very special guests who know their way around a song themselves.  (It’s the Muppets, by the way.)  Check it out:

You could make the argument that appearing on YouTube channels is the 2015 equivalent of making the variety show rounds, so these short-form spots are a great fit for the Muppets.  And if they each get a bazillion views, then it’s all the more likely that the new Muppet TV show will happen.  In other words, you should watch the above video over and over again for the rest of the day.
