We’ve got two (two!) Muppet appearances to get you all psyched for. Coming so soon after Miss Piggy’s appearances on The Wendy Williams Show and The Bonnie Hunt Show, we’ll soon see some Muppets on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The Muppets will appear on Jimmy Fallon’s show on Wednesday, December 23. Jimmy’s website is promoting the Green and Red Christmas album, so my guess is that they’ll be on hand to sing a song or two. Here’s hoping for a Battle of the Bands between the Electric Mayhem and The Roots. (UPDATE: We just learned that the Muppets will be singing “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Sounds like you shouldn’t miss this one!)
On Sunday, January 3, the Muppets will appear on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Muppets have a long history with the show, having appeared as a group on a 2005 episode, and then just Kermit in 2006. Elmo also made an appearance in 2007. There is no word on why they weren’t asked to be on the show in 2008.
