TurkeyHollow_LisaCheryl_1968When we heard that new graphic novels adapted from scripts written by Jim Henson and Jerry Juhl were being made, we all jumped for joy.  But a new TV special based on those original scripts?  That’s something worth throwing a party for.

The Musical Monsters of Turkey Hollow was recently printed as a graphic novel with art by Roger Langridge.  Now it seems that a TV special will begin filming this spring in Nova Scotia, Canada, with Jim Henson Company-built puppets.

We first caught wind of this news a while back when a video of a virtual classroom tour through the Creature Shop picked up some puppet designs in the background.  And now our suspicions have been confirmed!

We’ll update you all once we have more information regarding casting, creative choices, and when it may air (our prediction: just in time for Thanksgiving, 2015).
