Muppets on SNL!? Really!?

Sometimes staying up past my bedtime is totally worth it.  Last night was one of those nights.

Because Jason Segel was hosting Saturday Night Live, and the odds were pretty good that, since he’s promoting a new Muppet movie, Muppets may show up.  And show up they did!  They joined Jason for his monologue (in a memorable and hilarious song), Rowlf and Gonzo appeared in the show’s odd final sketch, and the best one: Kermit joined Seth Meyers on Weekend Update for “Really!? With Seth and Kermit”.  Television history: Achieved.

Bonus: Check out the picture below! Recognize any faces in the background?  Yep, that’s a bonafide cameo by Matt Vogel, Peter Linz, and David Rudman!  I guess Steve Whitmire and Dave Goelz were busy doing something else. (Thanks to Cameron Garrity for that find!)
