Everyone knows about Sesame Street, but not everyone knows everything about Sesame Street. When people have questions about the show and the characters, they turn to Google. For people like us, those questions might be “Who performed Maurice Monster in the Frazzle song?” But for most normal people, the questions are more likely to be on the level of “Does Elmo have ears?”
So here’s the premise of this video from Wired: The Wired people take the Sesame-related questions that are Googled often enough to show up as AutoComplete suggestions, and pose them to Sesame Street Muppets to get their responses. It seems to be genuinely spontaneous, and of course, the performers are extremely entertaining as always. Perhaps the highlight of the whole thing is when they get to “did cookie monster become the veggie monster?” Check it out:
