Forsooth!  Wherefore art thine Sesame Street Muppets?  Verily, they shall be in yonder Central Park.

Okay, enough of that.  A bard I am not.  The Sesame Street gang will be making a live appearance in New York City’s Central Park this weekend for a special performance of “The Winter’s Tale” in Shakespeare in the Park!  Performances will run from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7.

From what we can see in the photo above, the puppeteers on hand will include Tyler Bunch, Ryan Dillon, David Rudman, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Eric Jacobson, and (we’re guessing on this one) Caroll Spinney.

Tickets to Shakespeare in the Park are free!  But not really!  There are three ways to get tickets.  You can wait in line along with hundreds of other theater lovers as early as 6:00AM (tickets are given away at noon), you can try and win the daily lottery (which you can do while waiting in line), or you can donate $75 per ticket to Public Works.  No such thing as a free lunch!
