Sesame Street is making a big leap this week. Season 51 has just been announced to premiere on Thursday, November 12 on HBO Max. This is a historical moment for the show, as it will be the first season to premiere on a streaming service rather than analog television. For those who aren’t subscribed to HBO Max, fret not – the episodes will premiere on PBS next fall.

This season, the curricular goal is all about problem solving, which will be illustrated in the season’s anthem song “I Wonder, What If, Let’s Try” performed by special guest Hailee Steinfeld.

And speaking of special guests, there’s going to be plenty of celebrity visitors this season, including Billy Porter, Maggie Rogers, Steph and Ayesha Curry, Kelsea Ballerini, and Issa Rae (reportedly playing a queen and providing the voice of her Muppet daughter).

You can find more about the season in Sesame’s official press kit, and check out this sizzle reel below, which features an appearance by a certain saxophone-playing owl we’ve missed so dearly.
