Oh man, we’re so excited about the upcoming book all about Jim Henson’s first TV series Sam and Friends. Beyond the obvious thrill behind getting this fresh look at Jim’s early days (not to mention Kermit’s), it’s written by Muppet writer and Jim Henson Legacy President Craig Shemin.

Oh hey, and it’s gonna have a foreword by Frank Oz! Another reason to get excited!

BearManor Media – the publisher behind the book – released the cover, and it looks terrific. We especially appreciate the felt-covered TV set, which feels appropriately Muppety.

There’s no official release date yet, but it will reportedly be coming “soon”. Not soon enough!
