Last year, we held a contest where we asked you (yes, YOU!) to create some Cookie Monster memes to win a free copy of his then-new book “The Joy of Cookies”. Unsurprisingly, the memes you all made were fantastic and hilarious.
This year, Oscar the Grouch has his own (anti-)motivational book, “The Pursuit of Grouchiness“, so how about we do it all again??
The good folks at Macmillan Publishing have provided us with FIVE copies of Oscar’s tome to give away! All you have to do to get one is to create a meme featuring Oscar the Grouch. (Or something Oscar-related… we will accept entries with Grundgetta, Slimey, Oscar’s can, etc.)

Your meme can be a parody of an existing meme, a new meme you made up, funny or thoughtful, illustrated or Photoshopped, or whatever you want (as long as it’s original – no pre-existing memes, please!). Get creative, be original, go nuts.
The only criteria are that it invokes our favorite Grouch and is recognizable as a meme. Easy.
As an added bonus, Macmillan has also given us a stack of Oscar the Grouch posters! Everyone who enters this contest will get one (while supplies last, first-come first-served). See, you have no reason not to enter! FREE STUFF, YOU GUYS.
