The folks over at Bleeding Cool got the scoop on the bonus features included on the DVD and Blu-Ray for The Muppets, coming out in March. Their information comes from an unofficial source, but it’s our first potentially reliable update. So read on with an optimistic grain of salt.
The Good: There are fewer things greater than a Muppet Blooper reel. The complete Tex Richman song will be a great addition to the film. We’ve been waiting on info about the table read for about 12 years now. And depending on who’s included on the commentary, it could be the best Muppet commentary yet.
The Bad: Where the eff are all of those deleted scenes??? We know there’s a metric ton of them, so why not bank on Muppet fans like you and me shelling out some extra cash for a disc full of them?
But like I said, this isn’t official word from Disney, so details may change or be elaborated on. And as we hear of those details, we’ll be sure to pass them along to you. You’re welcome.
