Muppet representation on Netflix Instant is lacking. Sure, there’s a bunch of Sesame Street episodes and shows like Dinosaurs, and the Lady Gaga special (which should never again be seen by human eyes), but that’s about it for instant Muppets. Thankfully, that’s about to change.
Starting on April 1st, The Muppets Take Manhattan will be available for instant viewing on Netflix! So now you’ll be able to cry along with “Saying Goodbye” whenever the urge takes you.
Hopefully this will be the start of a trend of more Muppet movies coming to Netflix. How great would it be to be able to marathon the films on your smartphone? Or maybe Disney will choose Netflix as the exclusive market for seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show. Hey, that’s not such a bad idea…
