It’s easy to forget that the Electric Mayhem is a real band that can be booked like any other for a late night talk show appearance. Okay, so they don’t actually play their own instruments, but they’re just as good as any of your Adeles or Chumbawumbas or whathaveyous.
In any case, Jimmy Kimmel Live has booked Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem to appear this Wednesday, March 21! And they’ll be joined by Travis Barker, drummer for Blink-182 and The Aquabats. So I guess we’ll expect some sort of epic drum battle against Animal, huh?
Here’s the confusing part: We got this news from Bill Barretta’s brother Gene, who said that Bill is filming this segment today. So while we’re expecting it to air on Wednesday (which is what Jimmy Kimmel’s website says), it’s possible it could air earlier. Fair warning.
In any case, we’ll get video of the appearance online as soon as we can!
