Everyone around these parts shed a single tear when Roger Langridge announced that he was leaving The Muppet Show Comic Book. And we all wondered when and where we’d see his work again. Would he come back to the Muppets? Or would he stay on comics like Thor? Or would he give it all up and become a cosmonaut?
Turns out, Langridge has something up his sleeve! It isn’t Muppets, but it’s close! As he said on his blog: “I may have a small Jim Henson-related project coming up. I’m waiting for a yea or nay on something, then I’ll be able to spill a few more beans. Meanwhile, enjoy the suspense.”
What could it possibly be? Perhaps he’ll be working on the Labyrinth or Dark Crystal comics for Archaia. Or a Fraggle Rock story. Or a Land of Gorch graphic novel. Heck, I’d settle for a LaChoy Dragon newspaper strip. In any case, here’s hoping Roger Langridge’s Henson project gets greenlit soon!
