tms3bAfter twenty issues (with four more to come), a Harvey Award, and lots and lots of rave reviews, Roger Langridge, the fantastic writer and artist of The Muppet Show Comic Book has decided to move on.

Langridge is citing personal reasons for leaving the book, but he’s been thinking about moving on for a while now. And while we’ll miss his work terribly, we still have his “Four Seasons” arc to look forward to, which will hopefully come out in the first quarter of 2011.

As for the future of Muppet comics, Boom Studios is being surprisingly hush-hush, but we have high hopes for what might be down the line. And although it’s sad that Langridge might not be involved, here’s hoping he’ll be back for a guest stint in the future.
