We’re saddened to learn that Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations, has passed away.
Although Annan has many, many achievements under his belt through his history-changing role with the UN, there’s another more important role worth mentioning.
In 2002, Kofi Annan appeared on Sesame Street to deliver an important lesson about cooperation from the United Nations. It may also be the only time he ever sang on camera.
In all seriousness, Kofi Annan did a lot of important and groundbreaking work for the world, and we are extremely grateful for his service and life’s work.
