Kermit the Frog has been around for over 60 years, but he’s always kept up with the times. In the ’70s, he disco-danced. In the ’80s, he ran a satellite TV network. In the ’90s, he wore trendy jeans. In the ’00s… well, he starred on a French variety show. That was “in” in the ’00s, right?
Today, it’s late 2010s, which means it’s time for Kermit the Frog to join Instagram. And so he has, joining the ranks of such popular Instagrammers as Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and ToughPigs.com. He already has almost 100,000 followers! You can find Kermit’s Instagram right here. Among his first posts is this selfie:
As a few fans have noticed, this appears to be a new Kermit puppet, perhaps designed to fit the specific contours of Matt Vogel’s hand. It would be great if they use this thing for more new images of Kermit. And because it’s Instagram, they don’t even have to be good pictures!
