We are saddened to learn of the passing of Jeff Hale, the animator responsible for many classic Sesame Street segments.

Among Hale’s most well-known animations are the Pinball Number Count…

…the Typewriter series…

…the Detective series…

…and the Ringmaster series.

But that’s not all!  Jeff Hale also served as an animation director for Muppet Babies and Little Muppet Monsters.

Beyond the world of the Muppets, Hale was also the animator behind Lenny Bruce’s “Thank You Mask Man“, Transformers, The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, and so many, many more.

Jeff Hale’s mark on Sesame Street‘s history is obvious.  He created some unforgettable segments, and he will be missed terribly.
