A few of us here at ToughPigs have been playing (and enjoying!) the mobile game Disney Emoji Blitz for a few years now. It’s like Candy Crush, but with Disney characters. It’s a nice distraction.
The main reason we started playing at all was because the game launched with a few Muppet emojis (Kermit and Fozzie), and they’ve added a few more since then (Piggy, Gonzo, The Swedish Chef, Bob and Emily Cratchit). To be honest, I’m a little surprised we haven’t seen Animal or Beaker yet, but with new emojis added almost every week, it’s just a matter of time.
According to IceJD on Reddit, two characters from Muppets Haunted Mansion are coming to Disney Emoji Blitz soon: Madame Pigota and Gauzey the Hatbox Bear. Check out what they’ll look like below:
Both emojis will debut on October 5th when the app will host a 5-day Muppets Haunted Mansion-themed event.
Here’s hoping we’ll see more Muppets pop up in the game soon!
