Hey, you know what would be cool? If you got to shop for plumbing parts at a Gonzo-themed attraction at a Disney theme park. I know we’ve all been thinking it for years, but it’s important to vocalize these things.
Spotted recently at Walt Disney World in the Muppets Courtyard is a building with a sign for Gonzo’s Royal Flush, seen above. It’s still under construction, and we have no idea if it will be a store, an attraction, an eatery, a purposeless facade, or something completely different. But if nothing else, it proves that Disney is dedicated to actually making the Muppets Courtyard truly Muppet-themed.
UPDATE: We have learned that the building was already being used as a restroom, so it’s likely that Gonzo’s Royal Flush will be (what else?) a themed bathroom. That? Is perfect.
So as of right now, we’re looking at a Rizzo-themed restaurant and a Gonzo-themed building in addition to the (hopefully staying) Muppet*Vision 3D. Finally, Disney World is a place people will want to visit!
