Remember a few years ago when someone from Disney said that we’d have a brand new Muppet special every Christmas? And remember that time Lady Gaga wore a dress made out of Kermit dolls? And remember when Lady Gaga was supposed to have a cameo in The Muppets? Well, mash up all of those memories into a little ball and get ready for the next big rumor.
According to E! Online, Lady Gaga and the Muppets have filmed a Christmas special, set to air on ABC this holiday season!
We don’t know any more details than that, but from the sound of it, we can safely speculate that there will be pop songs, outrageous outfits, and possibly Gonzo falling in love with the bizarre singer.

The special, titled “Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular” will air on Thanksgiving night: November 28 at 9:30pm ET. The special will be 90 minutes long and will feature appearances by Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, RuPaul, and Kristen Bell. The Swedish Chef, Beaker, and Animal will reprise their “Leprechaun Brothers” routine for those timeless (read: Public Domain) classics “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells”. And the special will include a sneak peek of the upcoming Muppets Most Wanted.
