It’s a Christmas in July miracle! Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, the stage adaptation of the special, will be making its Off-Broadway debut this winter at the New Victory Theater in Manhattan. The production will run from December 6 through January 2, 2022 and tickets go on sale beginning Friday, September 10.

The stage show first premiered in 2008 at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut. It uniquely blends human actors portraying many of the characters (as seen above) with puppets made by the Jim Henson Company. To find out more about the show, check out our review of the production back in 2009.
