Threadless is a website where people submit t-shirt designs, which are then voted on by the sites’ members, with the highest-scoring designs getting printed up and made available for purchase. (Presumably the t-shirts do, in fact, have threads.) Right now they’re accepting submissions for “The Muppets T-shirt Design Challenge,” which is a great opportunity for any fan who’s ever dreamed of drawing a picture of the Muppets and having complete strangers wear it on their torsos.
The challenge is simple: Use the Muppets in a t-shirt design that celebrates friendship. So, you know, just draw a picture of Kermit and Fozzie shaking hands or something, and you’re done! The list of prizes is pretty sweet, including $2,500 cash, some collectible statues, and an autographed copy of “the upcoming album Muppets: The Green Album,” which I don’t think I had even heard about before now, so it must be special.
Click here for all the info and to submit your design. And good luck — it would be pretty groovy to see a Tough Pigs reader win the challenge!
