We are saddened to learn that puppeteer Christopher Leith has passed away.  Among his many puppetry credits were several Henson projects including three films and one TV series.

Leith served as the Artistic Director for the Little Angel Theater in London and performed on films such as Little Shop of Horrors and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, as well as Henson films Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, and Labyrinth.  He also performed the Ultragorgon in the “Monster Maker” episode of The Jim Henson Hour.

Earlier this year, a project titled 3 Stages for Lazarus, was fully funded on Indiegogo.  Lazarus is a live performance featuring puppets by Christopher Leith, with Leith in the play as an actor as well.  The future of the project is unknown.
