A few years back (You’ll notice I didn’t say “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away,” which would be the most unoriginal thing I could possibly say), Disney started selling a set of PVC figures at their theme parks that featured the Muppets as Star Wars characters. This was exciting for Muppet fans, Star Wars fans, and the super-dorks (like me!) who are into both franchises, even if we thought Rizzo was an odd choice for Yoda.
Now it’s time to have our minds blown across the galaxy all over again, because a new set of Muppet Star Wars figures is on the way. Some of the same characters are included, but this time around they’re articulated, which means they can move their arms. JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIES. They’ll be sold in two-packs, like the Bunsen-as-R2-D2/Beaker-as-C3PO set seen above. Also: Link is playing the role of Han Solo, which he’d be pretty happy about, and Camilla appears to be playing a stormtrooper, which is hilarious.
