Singer Andy Williams, best known to us as the guest star of a season 4 episode of The Muppet Show, has passed away.
Williams hosted his own show, aptly titled “The Andy Williams Show”, from 1962 to 1971 and is know for crooning hit songs like “Theme from Love Story” and “Moon River”. He also appeared in his own live review in Branson, Missouri, until very recently.
Unfortunately, his episode of The Muppet Show, which is an important one for having the first mention of Rizzo’s name, has not yet been released on DVD or home video, but thanks to the kind souls of YouTube, you can watch it (for now) on the sanctity of your own computer screen.
