It’s always incredibly satisfying to see terrific Muppet fan art hitting the internet, and it’s doubly true when that art finds new life outside of Instagram (or this website).
Last year, artist Andy Bennett celebrated “Inktober” with a month’s worth of some fantastic Muppet illustrations, which we later shared here on ToughPigs. Lucky for us, Andy decided to release his Muppet series as a book!
“Play the Music, Light the Lights: Drawings by Andy Bennett” is now available to purchase on Amazon, and it features 88 pages of his 2019 Inktober entries, additional Muppet-related illustrations, commentaries, and behind-the-scenes peeks into their production.
As a super exciting added bonus (I hope), the book also features an introduction by me! ToughPigs’ Editor-in-Chief Joe Hennes. I’m extremely honored to play a small part in this terrific art collection.
