Sesame Street is returning to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade once again, but this time they won’t be in their usual float on the parade route. No, this year they’ll be kicking off the festivities with a special appearance at the top of the broadcast.
Much like the Muppets did in 2016, the cast of Sesame Street will be the very first act in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ll be doing some sort of musical number or sketch, which will take the place of their usual role in the parade itself.
The parade will air on NBC on Thursday, November 28th at 9am, and stay tuned to ToughPigs for video of the Sesame Muppets’ appearance as soon as it’s available!
