None of us could have predicted that The Storyteller, the series created for The Jim Henson Hour retelling classic legends and fairy tales with a Creature Shop twist, would have such a life after the end of the TV series. But here we are, with a brand new Storyteller comic book miniseries on the horizon.
Archaia has announced that the next focus for The Storyteller will be Sirens, telling tales of mermaids and other seafaring creatures of myth.
The series will be four issues long, and will debut this April.
Writers and artists will include Jakub Rebelka (Judas) with Bartosz Sztybor, Chan Chau (Elements:Fire), Sarah Webb (Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: Under the Spell), and Aud Koch (The Wicked + The Divine), with covers by Cory Godbey.
