Isn’t it incredibly upsetting that there’s a great Caroll Spinney documentary out there, but only a few of us have seen it? Well, prepare yourself for a lack of upsettedness, because I Am Big Bird is getting a wide release this May!
According to the filmmakers, I Am Big Bird will be released on VOD and iTunes on May 5th, and then it will be released in theaters starting on May 8th in New York City, with other cities getting the film throughout May. And if you contributed to the film’s Kickstarter campaign, that’s about when you should expect your rewards to come rolling in as well.
So let’s get ready for an awesome documentary about a fascinating performer to come to your home town or living room in just a few months!
