Just the other day, we revealed that Sesame Street will be hosting a panel and screening at this year’s Comic Con International in San Diego. Now it looks like they won’t be alone (as if that’s even possible at a convention hall filled with tens of thousands of people).
The Jim Henson Company, along with Archaia, will host their own panel at Comic Con. It will be held on Friday, July 25 at 6:00pm in Room 32AB. The official title of the panel is “The Jim Henson Company: Upcoming Comics with Archaia”, so you’re bound to learn a thing or two about what’s coming up next from the Fraggle, Storyteller, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Musical Monsters of Turkey Hollow worlds.
The panelists will include Jeff Stokely (illustrator for The Storyteller: Witches), Jake Myler (illustrator for Fraggle Rock), Ian Herring (colorist for Tale of Sand), and Shane-Michael Vidaurri (writer and illustrator for The Storyteller: Witches) and moderated by Henson line editor at Archaia Rebecca “Tay” Taylor.So if you’ll be attending this year’s Comic Con International, be sure to hit this enlightening panel up! And let’s all keep our fingers crossed for a Muppet panel at Comic Con to complete the trifecta.
