From his lowly beginnings as a cigar box to his attempt at high art as a daredevil to his brief stint as Charles Dickens, Gonzo the Great has been an important part of the Muppets for decades. So we’re honoring him in the only way we know how. No, not by shooting him out of a canon into a tub of tapioca. We’re spotlighting him in the next Muppet Vault.
Join us on Wednesday, August 10 at 8:00pm (doors at 7:30pm) in Brooklyn, NY for the second installment of Muppet Vault: Gonzo the Great! We’ll be spotlighting the Muppets’ resident daredevil with a compilation of his most memorable (and most bizarre) appearances on The Muppet Show, Muppets Tonight, and the Muppet movies!
The show will be held at Union Hall, located at 702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The venue is near the 2,3,4,D,N, and R trains. So many options! Union Hall has a fully-stocked bar, food options, a fireplace, a library, and two bocce ball courts. You can also arrive by cannon, but we can’t promise there will be any cushioning for your landing.
Unfortunately, due to the bar atmosphere, the Muppet Vault is only for fans 21 and over. So feel free to bring your parents, bring your grandparents, and bring your favorite chickens!
Seating at Union Hall is very limited, so pre-ordering tickets is highly recommended. Click here to reserve your tickets now.
