turkey hollow then and now

We’re mere days away from the premiere of Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow, and among the many things that are getting us excited about the special are those amazing puppets.

Recently, we visited the Jim Henson Creature Shop in Burbank to get a glimpse at the Turkey Hollow monsters, the original puppets built by Jim Henson and Don Sahlin, and master puppet builder Pete Brooke (who we didn’t just glimpse at, we actually talked to the guy)!

Watch our behind-the-scenes video below, and then don’t forget to watch Turkey Hollow on Lifetime on November 21st!

Many thanks to Dave Hulteen for his fantastic editing skills, Sarah Elizabeth Grace for her videography, Nicole Goldman and Yannina Diaz at the Jim Henson Company, and Pete Brooke for joining us on camera!
