In response to the big news that Caroll Spinney will be retiring from performing on Sesame Street, the folks at Sesame Workshop shared a video spotlighting Caroll’s career on the show. While it’s difficult to compact 50 years of history into less than five minutes, it’s still a wonderful look at the life and legacy of the man who brought Big Bird to life.
