It’s hard to believe that it’s been two months since Caroll Spinney passed away. The amount of celebration surrounding his life and legacy has been staggering, and I truly believe that everyone has found a way to experience the joy in Caroll’s work despite these sad times.
Yesterday, Sesame Workshop held a private memorial ceremony to help his friends, coworkers, and families pay tribute to this amazing man. While the service wasn’t open to the public, they have graciously shared a video from the event.
In the video below, you’ll see eulogies from Caroll’s family, Sesame Workshop CEO Jeff Dunn, Bob McGrath, Pam Arciero, Martin Robinson and more, as well as a few performances by the Muppet performers and Big Bird himself.
