As previously mentioned on this very website, a special episode of Sesame Street was taped for the 44th season as a tribute to Jerry Nelson. If you missed the episode on your local PBS station, you can watch it right here.

To commemorate this occasion, your Tough Pigs pals visited the Sesame Street studio and talked to a few of the Muppet performers about their memories of Jerry, both on and off the set.

The result is the video below, featuring Caroll Spinney, Marty Robinson, and Matt Vogel. Take a look:

Our thanks to Messrs. Spinney, Robinson and Vogel for sharing their thoughts with us, and of course, a tip of the hat to Jerry Nelson for such a remarkable legacy.
