The upcoming (and yet, still not officially green-lit) Sesame Street movie hit a minor hurdle this week: The film’s production has been delayed for nine months.
According to The Wrap, the movie will begin production in April, 2020. It is currently holding on to its January 15, 2021 release date, however that may now change due to the recent events.
The movie is set to be directed by Portlandia’s Jonathan Krisel, written by Mike Rosolio and Chris Galletta, with music by Bo Burnham, and starring Anne Hathaway. Just, y’know, nine months later than expected.
