Sesame Street: Part of a Balanced Breakfast

Earlier this year, Elmo re-joined the ranks of Toucan Sam, Lucky the Leprechaun, and Dig’em Frog. Sesame Street cereal can now be found in breakfast aisles in grocery stores across the country.

So of course, as your loyal Muppet ambassadors, we took it upon ourselves to find both varieties (“123 Berry” and “C is for Cinnamon”) so we could taste-test it on your behalf. Oh, the things we do in the name of journalism!

We hope you’ll enjoy our video review of breakfast cereal. My goodness, does that sound dull. I hope we’re slightly more entertaining than this intro.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Sesame Street characters have found themselves on the cover of a cereal box. According to the Muppet Wiki, Elmo starred in two varieties of “Organic On the Go-Go Os” from Earth’s Best in 2005, and then in 2013 we saw Elmo and Big Bird and Cookie Monster on three different flavors of “C is for Cereal”. We are saddened that we never bothered to taste-test any of those. I’m sure they were delicious and educational.

And now, as a little breakfast bonus: Cereal Girl.
