Without Sam and Friends, there may not have been a Sesame Street or a Muppet Show. It’s such an important part of Henson history, and thanks to Muppet writer Craig Shemin, we’re about to get a whole book about it.
Sam and Friends: The Story of Jim Henson’s First Television Show has a release date! The book will be available this September 24th (hey, that’s Jim’s birthday!), with a foreword written by Frank Oz.
The book also has an updated cover, inspired by artwork by Jim Henson, newly illustrated by ToughPigs friend and Muppet artist extraordinaire Dave Hulteen!
