More Muppet Vinylmation, Inedible Popcorn

Disney’s collectable Vinylmation toys are tricky.  They’re insanely collectable and blind-boxed, which gives the Muppet merchandise completist in me angry fits of frustrating rage.  But I’m also far more in love with their designs than the way they look in real life (the three-dimensionality of Mickey’s face under the paint of the character is nothing but distracting).  So whether you’re for or against the toys, there’s good news for you.

First up, a third round of Muppet Vinylmation toys are coming your way.  This series will include the Muppet Newsman, Uncle Deadly, Mahna Mahna, a Snowth, a new Animal, and more (including a rumored Walter).  Check out the pictures, courtesy of Vinylmationworld.com, right here:

Also coming soon is Disney’s newest venture into the vinyl arts with their “Popcorn” line, 6″ tall figures without the cumbersome obstacle of creating designs that look good on Mickey Mouse’s face.  The price point is a little higher at $24.95, so purchase with caution.  Check out the upcoming Kermit figure, along with Mickey, Goofy, and Sully, right here:

Thanks to Robert Poole and Jimmy M for the head’s up! Click here to say it always sounds better on vinyl on the ToughPigs forum!
