Poll: Sesame Moustaches

What makes for a good Sesame Street Muppet? Cuteness? Hilarious comic timing? Educational potential? Nope. The true answer is, of course, a moustache. Throughout the show’s history, a number of the most lovable characters have had equally lovable facial hair.

So which mustachioed Sesame character is your favorite? Is it Humphrey, the monster with a purple moustache to match his face? Harvey Kneeslapper, whose ‘stache is as wild and untamed as his personality? Grover’s Fat Blue customer Mr. Johnson, or his look-alike Simon Soundman? Maybe you like the Amazing Mumford‘s moustache… It goes well with his fuzzy eyebrows. Or perhaps you’re old-school and you dig the sensible facial hair of Herbert Birdsfoot, or the dapper moustache of Sherlock Hemlock. Or maybe you’re strange and obscure and your favorite is Dr. Nobel Price. Either way, you should make your voice heard by voting in our poll at the Tough Pigs forum. Click here to cast your vote!

And in case you’re wondering, Gordon is not included in this poll, not because he’s not a Muppet but because he would definitely run away with the vote. Everyone loves Gordon’s moustache.
