Hey, fellow Muppet geeks! Do you like Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas? Of course you do. Will you be reasonably close to Queens, New York over the Christmas holiday? If so, here’s your chance to win a family four-pack of tickets to a screening of the classic special, courtesy of the Museum of the Moving Image!
The museum, of course, is one of the most Muppet-fan-friendly establishments on this planet — it will be soon be home to a permanent gallery of Henson stuff, and it regularly hosts screenings of classic Muppet material. At 1:00 PM on December 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, and January 1, the museum will be screening Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas. It’s a great way for NYC families to spend some quality holiday time without actually having to talk to each other, and the folks at the museum are so excited about it they want to give away four tickets to a lucky Tough Pigs reader.
But hold on — you don’t get these tickets for nothing! (Who do you think we are, Santa Claus?) For the chance to win these tickets, you have to answer the following trivia question about the special:
What instrument does Chuck play in the Nightmare Band?
E-mail your answer to me at Ryan@ToughPigs.com by 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 22nd. After that, I’ll take all the correct answers and randomly choose one winner. The winner will be notified by e-mail, and will be allowed to select the date of the screening he or she (and three lucky loved ones) will attend.
