Above is the cover to the New Yorker issue coming out in the first week of July, illustrated by Jack Hunter.  As you can see, the image (titled “Moment of Joy”) celebrates love and equality in such a subtle way.  Plus, it has Bert and Ernie.

The issue will be in stores soon, so be sure to buy yourself a copy, frame it, and sigh wistfully whenever you look at it.
